Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to the Glimmer Guide app for mobile devices, together with any related services operated by Jacobsen (collectively, the “Application”). Jacobsen is referred to in this Policy as the “Service Provider”.
What information does the Application obtain?
The Application does not collect, log, or store personal information when you download and use it. Registration is not required.
If the Application is used with an active internet connection, technical protocol data such as an ephemeral IP address may be transmitted as necessary to facilitate network connectivity. This data is not retained by the Service Provider or used for tracking.
Normal use of Glimmer Guide does not create a personal-data record with the Service Provider.
Precise location
The Application does not collect precise real-time information about the location of your mobile device.
Third-party access
Since the Application does not collect personal information through normal use, the Service Provider does not share such information with third parties.
Nothing collected means nothing retained.
The Service Provider does not retain personal information from normal use of the Application because the Application does not collect or store such information.
Any information that exists only locally on your device remains under your control and is not retained by the Service Provider through normal app use.
Data deletion
Because the Application does not collect or retain personal information through normal use, there is no server-side personal data from normal app use for the Service Provider to delete.
Uninstalling the Application removes the Application from your device. If you separately contact the Service Provider and voluntarily provide personal information, you may request deletion of that information by emailing support@jacobsen.ink.
Children’s privacy
The Application is not intended for children under 13 years of age, or such higher age as required by applicable law. The Service Provider does not knowingly solicit personal data from children or market the Application to them.
Since the Application does not collect personal information through normal use, no personal information is collected from a child through normal use of the Application.
Security & data breach notification
Because the Application does not collect personal data through normal use, the risk of exposure of such data is limited. No security system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
If a security incident involves information that you separately and voluntarily provided to the Service Provider, the Service Provider will handle any required notification in accordance with applicable law.
Changes to this Policy
The Service Provider may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by publishing the updated Policy with a new effective date. Where applicable law requires consent for a change, the Service Provider will seek it before the relevant change takes effect.

Voluntarily provided information
If you voluntarily provide information to the Service Provider outside normal app use and processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.
